The luxury condos at First Tracks Lodge were built to offer those buyers and guests the opportunity to enjoy a luxury property in an excellent location. Luxury and excellent location typically go hand in glove, and First Tracks Lodge (FTL) is no exception. Many realtors, would equate the quality of First Tracks Lodge as close to the quality of Four Seasons Resort in the Benchlands, or as close as we have in Whistler. First Tracks Lodge was also built with commercial space for a restaurant. Unfortunately, and despite a couple of attempts the restaurant could not sustain itself during the April to December period. When we consider the location of a suite within a building, such as First Tracks Lodge, there is usually a personal preference. However, if you are considering renting out the suite, the difference in price based on the location should be factored in. It can take a lot of nightly rentals to generate $100,000 after tax dollars. Have a look at the following chart and look at the cost/sq. ft. This cost/sq. ft. is instrumental in determining the value of any unit within a building or complex. When determining the market value of a condo, just look at the comparable last sale, the cost/sq. ft., and then start adding or subtracting value to reach your market value range. From there it is up to the realtors to negotiate a fair price, terms and conditions.

The location of 209 is just past the walkway coming off the bridge from Creekside village, and basically is directly opposite the Guest Services offices in The Legends. However, because of the extensive deck system of 209, see floor plan below, you have your choice of several views. These range from: 1) a nice view to the west and Sproatt and Rainbow Mountains; 2) watching skiers and boarders coming across the bridge and walking to and from the Gondola; and 3) a great view up the front of the Dave Murray Downhill. This condo offers a selection of interesting view with lots of sights to keep you intrigued. The condo is above the former restaurant space, which as I explained above, never caught on. The space is now used for the Kids Snow Camp, so after everyone has gone home at 4pm, there should be no noise from below.
