One way to describe 3855 Sunridge Court is as a timeless, luxury house for sale which is walking distance to Whistler Village. It may not sound it, but this is a rare property indeed. There is a handful of real estate in Whistler which can be described as a luxury, detached home within easy walking distance to the village. All this without crossing the highway. Actually, most of the properties which fit that description are in Sunridge. I chose that description rather than raving on about the magnificent mountain views from every room in the house. When buyers are considering the purchase of a luxury home in Whistler, they are typically expecting a mountain view, although this mountain view is remarkable. In addition, there is an expectation that the property looks as though it is worth the $8.9M price tag. There is no one who would look at these photos and not see what a stunning house this is. My job is to tell you what you don’t see. So let’s talk about location to the village.
Location to Whistler Village
Why is the location to the village so important? Well, Whistler Village is a magnet for tourists and some locals because it is a fun environment, and a safe environment. Youth can enter the village and their parents know they will return home safely, under their own steam. The coffee shops, bakeries, cafes and restaurants are all very good to excellent. The shops are what you would expect in a destination which features heavily on snow and biking sports. The cinema with its matinees also help the village traffic, and we have the Audain Art Museum, I could go on and on. The village has a lot of offer and we are lucky to have it. For families, with teenage children, or who have guest staying, the flexibility of those people walking to the village under their own steam is a huge advantage to any parent or host.
To walk from 3855 Sunridge Court to the village would take around 15 minutes. On a bike, which is the main mode of summer transportation, it is probably a 5 minute bike ride once the snow melts from the valley in March.

Access to Whistler Mountain
This is the part of the blog, where I announce that this property is neither ski-in nor, ski-out. The location is well below the traverse off Whistler Mountain which comes into the north end of Sunridge. The traverse then connects to the ski-in trail leading down to Sunridge Drive. Please have a look at my video which explains the Ski Access Trails in Sunridge. In addition, my video, featuring the street view of Sunridge, also shows Sunridge Court. If there was snow on the ground could you take the ski-in trail and schuss along the snow covered road to Sunridge Court, but I would not rely on that.
