The access to the Village run on Blackcomb Mountain is the same access that the owners of Cedar Ridge use. It is to the south end of Cedar Ridge complex which is closest to the ski slope, Village Run. When you ski down the Village Run you end up in Whistler Village. From there you have the choice of the Whistler Village Gondola or the Fitzsimmons Chair, both servicing Whistler Mountain. In the world of Whistler real estate, this area up on Glacier Drive is referred to as the Benchlands where there is a free shuttle. In the world of Whistler transit, www.bctransit.com/whistler, this bus route 7 is not acknowledged as the Benchlands, so have your fare ready. The best part is that there is bus stop on Glacier Drive which is very close to the entrance to Cedar Hollow and Cedar Ridge. I would not advise walking up the road at any time of day and especially not at night. There is no sidewalk and it is a busy road as Glacier Drive goes up to the parking lots for Blackcomb Mountain and Base 2. Table of Contents.
