The July 2020 Whistler Real Estate Market Update is a continuation on the same path as the June 2020 update. This is good news for both Sellers and Buyers, as both parties continue to demonstrate confidence. This should relieve the pressure for those of us who feel that a second wave of the pandemic is imminent.
The Second Half of 2020 and the Effect on Whistler Real Estate
Now that we are in July 2020, only a genius or a fool, of which I am neither, would try to predict what the second half of 2020 will look like. However, because we have seen a resurgence in Buyer confidence, real estate sales have been happening. The Seller confidence in the market, has been shown by the number of new listings. Just a reminder that back in March the number of new listings and the number of sales ground to a halt. At that time we all wondered when and if the real estate market would come back. Well, it seems that despite all the predictions, or lack of them, from the major financial institutions, the people have spoken with their pocket books.
