This should be a very short blog. One message to get across is that 406 Le Chamois condo with a full kitchen, is listed for sale. That kitchen includes a four burner stove top with an oven. Unless you are familiar with Le Chamois, you may not appreciate my enthusiasm. Allow me to explain. Le Chamois was developed without kitchen facilities in the studio and one bedroom condos. Over the years, some owners in Le Chamois decided that they would like to have a modest kitchen, and some requested a stove and oven be added. The request had to be submitted by the owner and approved by the strata council.
It was not a given that any owner requesting the addition of a stove would be approved. I expect it has a lot to do with the ventilation for each unit, as there are several different one bedroom layouts. In addition, the extra electrical power needed to wire for a stove, may be another deterrent.
Rental Management Options at Le Chamois
Whistler Premier Resorts Ltd., holds the rental management contract for Le Chamois. This experienced and trusted company also manages the front desk. It is mandatory for owners to place their unit in the rental pool with Whistler Premier, when they are not using it themselves. It is only the larger units on the 5th and 6th floor which have to option on of retaining the services of Whistler Premier, or self-managing the condo for nightly rentals.
