Perfect ski-in ski-out location nestled between the base of both Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains. Snowy Creek has the enviable location of also being within easy (flat) walking distance to the Village…literally minutes away.
The units are spacious, generous sized units with open concept floor plan, private single car garage, some have a private mini backyard, most have been renovated with high-end finishings and private hot tubs.
Snowy Creek is closer to the Village than the Benchlands properties. However, Snowy Creek is not physically in the Village, therefore it is not classified as a Village property. In Spring, Blackcomb Mountain’s, world-class groomers do what they can to keep the ski in and ski out operational by re-arranging the snow to accommodate skiers. Mountain Square, home of the Whistler Village Gondola, the Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola and the Fitzsimmons Chair, is just minutes away and a short walk from Snowy Creek would be very easy. If you wanted to ski Whistler Mountain, you could ski in to the Village and then walk home to Snowy Creek from there. Good luck getting past the lure of the Dubh Linn Gate Pub! It is very simple to buy a property in Whistler when you are a non-resident. I have copied pg 7 of the Buyer’s Guide (see table of contents above) which was supplied by a local law firm, Race & Co., so you can read the section on non-residents. Their advice is to open a bank account in Canada as soon as you start thinking about buying a property. Also, have a lawyer notarize your identification, well in advance of purchasing…I will walk you through this when we connect. Return to table of contents.

Snowy Creek has a big advantage over other ski-in ski-out rental properties…it has 4 bedrooms and a loft, plus a sofa bed, so it can sleep a lot of people. This property should generate consistent revenue in Winter and Summer. The property also has a single car garage for bike storage. The proximity to the Village means that the renters don’t have to rent a vehicle, so that is another plus for them. You can use any rental management company you wish, or you can self-manage your condo, if you have the motivation. This site is initially a little tricky to navigate, but it will give you the current year and last year’s assessed value of the property, and the sales over the past year.
When the terms and conditions have been removed on each transaction, but the property has not changed title, the sales information is posted on WLS by the listing agent. I re-post this information on the Whistler Ski in Ski out social media pages of Twitter, Facebook and Google+. That is a good way for you to track Whistler ski-in ski-out sales activity. There is ski-in ski-out access at the back of the development obviously at the side which is up against the ski-slope (see building site plan). It is a very easy ski-in to the complex, you will have to side-step it up the incline to ski out onto the trail…but this is nothing to fret about. The other access is to walk along Blackcomb Way, past the bus terminal and you will soon be at the Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola. This is also a great location if you are mountain bikers or if you are renting to mountain bikers, because it is so close to the Whistler Village Gondola for uploading. Return to table of contents.

Tourism Whistler has provided a detailed document which answers the question, “What are TW fees?” These fees are paid by each owner of a property located on Resort Land. The document also provides an overview on the purpose of Tourism Whistler. Make sure you refer to the page entitled: Resort Land Properties Subject to Restrictive Covenants for a list of properties in Whistler which have a rental restriction. Pertaining to this website, it means that for the owners in the Aspens, Le Chamois, Telemark and Woodrun, even if you live in the property, you still have to pay a commercial TW fee. For all other ski-in ski-out properties on this site, you would get a break on the commercial fees, as the other properties on this site are not subject to the restrictive covenant with rental pool requirements.
