Street View Of Sunridge, Whistler

I decided it was time to make a street view of Sunridge video as Google has not flown over Whistler since 2002. The Google Map makes it look like there is still a lot of land available for development. I assure you that Sunridge is almost fully developed. Hopefully, by watching this video you will get a sense of the development. It is a long video, so put the kettle on and get comfy!

Ski Access Trails For Sunridge

In the Street View of Sunridge video I point out the end of the incoming access trails off Lower Olympic on Whistler Mountain. These trails are identified by a set of steps which come into Sunridge Place at the south end of Sunridge, and on to Sunridge Drive at the north end of Sunridge. I also point out the private driveways leading off the top of Sunridge. These properties are ski-in ski-out.

Architecture and Design in Sunridge

From the street view of Sunridge In the video you get a glimpse of the fabulous houses. To me, the houses in Sunridge are comparable to the houses in Horstman Estates, a ski-in location off Blackcomb Mountain. It was the design, back in the day to included more timber posts and beams throughout the house. Nowadays, the block design which is most popular in Kadenwood neither includes timbers nor a lot of millwork in the interior or exterior design. In other words, they don’t make houses like they used to in Whistler, and that suits some people, just fine.

Location to Whistler Village

The entrance to Sunridge is just off Panorama Ridge in Brio. Where the video shows the car turning off the highway on to Panorama Ridge, is probably a five to ten minute walk past the Whistler Golf Course driving range and then you are at the edge of the village. I would say that it is less than 30 minutes to walk down from the top of Sunridge Drive to the edge of Whistler Village. This distance on foot is what makes Sunridge appealing to buyers.

Ski Access Trails into Sunridge

I created a video and a blog explaining the ski access trails off Whistler Mountain into Sunridge. On that blog post you will also see the Google Map I created. The map shows the direction of ski-in trails to Sunridge. If you are reading this post, you may be interested in the Sunridge Page on this site for even more details.

I am here to help you before, during and after the transaction. The recent rules effective June 15, 2018 have banned dual agency, so it is prudent to contact a Buyer’s Agent like me, for more information. Please contact me if you are not working with a realtor.
