Arrowhead Point, 4890 Painted Cliff Road, Whistler, B.C.
Arrowhead Point, 4890 Painted Cliff Road, Whistler, BC is a popular townhouse development on Blackcomb Mountain. Arrowhead Point is located a very short walk away from the public access trail leading on to Merlin’s Run. Merlin’s Run ends up at the ten passenger Blackcomb Gondola which will take you in comfort to the alpine and the Peak to Peak Gondola.
Coming home, there is also a decent ski-in trail which comes right into Arrowhead Point from Merlin’s Run. However, the other option is coming home at the same access trail on Merlin’s Run and walking home to Arrowhead Point. Some of the townhouses have a west-facing deck which is above the trees, so you can get great afternoon sunlight. The other building faces into the trees so less sunlight from that location.

Arrowhead Point is located at 4890 Painted Cliff Road, Whistler, BC. These mountainside townhomes located less than 50 metres from the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain. There is an easy ski access trail to Merlin’s Run. Each property has wood finishings and features a living room with a cozy river rock gas fireplace. Most units have a private, outdoor hot tub. I have included Arrowhead Point in the ski-in/ski-out group as it is so close to the slopes it just has to be included, and it has the ski-in to the complex. In addition, the rental management companies position Arrowhead Point as a ski-in/ski-out rental. Arrowhead Point usually sells a little less per sq. ft. than those developments which are both ski-in/ski-out. The layout of the complex is very neatly organized and should be on your list for comparison sake, if nothing else. Table of Contents.

There are several floor plans within this development, so if you don’t like one style, don’t write the complex off…there are always more coming on the market. Arrowhead Floor Plans A to E. Please note, these are from the original sales material which was produced in 1992. I have also attached the link to the architectural drawings showing floor plans for building 1 and building 2, they are a little difficult to read, but they cover three floors of each building. Location of the Arrowhead Point on Blackcomb Mountain and proximity of the ski-lifts:
Arrowhead Point is in a good location for rentals, and the private hot tub is a draw. The bus service to the Village means that the renters don’t have to rent a vehicle, so that is another plus. You can use any rental management company you wish, or you can self-manage your townhouse, if you have the motivation. For nightly rental rates on this property and other ski-in/ski-out properties your best bet is to check out www.AlluraDirect.com and the other nightly, rental by owner sites. Table of Contents

I have included Arrowhead Point in the ski-in/ski-out group as it is so close to the slopes., and is considered ski-in/ski-out by rental management companies. The ski-out trail off Blackcomb Mountain is neither groomed nor maintained, and it ends at the north end of the complex (furthest away from the road). This ski-out trail is a gently sloping narrow trail through the trees – which have been thinned. However, once the snow gets hard packed this can be a gnarly ski-out trail.
The ski-in trail on to Merlin’s Run on Blackcomb Mountain is a short walk from Arrowhead Point. Once you reach the public access trail, it is a very short trail leading on to Merlin’s Run. From there you are down to the ten passenger gondola which will take you up to the Peak to Peak Gondola station.
In Spring, the Blackcomb Mountain, world-class groomers do a great job of moving snow around on these lower slopes. This means that the properties located on Blackcomb Mountain remain a true ski-in/ski-out even if the snow has started to disappear from the lower slopes in Spring. However, you may not be able to use the ski-in trail into Arrowhead Point, which is never groomed. Table of Contents.
These include garbage removal, landscaping and snow removal. These strata fees are outlined in the strata minutes.
